For a completely new surgery, we can project manage the whole planning, design, and installation process. We offer a tailored service to suit individual practice needs.

Maintenance and servicing

Before your equipment is due its service our Service Manager will contact you to arrange a suitable and convenient date. This complimentary reminder service helps keep dental servicing up to date. Equipment that is serviced regularly is less likely to present a fault and cause unexpected downtime. Our engineers are certified and trained by the manufacturers and all service kits and parts are original manufacturer parts.

Repairs

An experienced engineer can provide technical support over the phone. We find that on many occasions the fault can be sorted without an engineer’s visit. If a visit is needed, we will get an engineer to you quickly. Our accredited and manufacturer trained engineers will do their best to fix the problem there and then, without the need for another visit.

Decontamination

Medefix can provide all maintenance and validation for Eschmann non vac autoclaves and Walker Ultrasonic Baths. We are here to advise on decontamination equipment and can recommend and install the right equipment for your surgery.

X-Ray validation

Our engineers are trained and fully supported by a private RPA. They can perform an Environmental Risk Assessment to fulfil IRR99 requirements to complete a risk assessment on each X-Ray location. This is normally required every three years on Intra Oral X-Ray units. Our engineers are HSE registered and trained to check x-ray systems are in line with MHRA April 2015 Managing Medical Devices.

Compressors

Our engineers are registered with mandate systems as pressure safe engineers and are able to carry out pressure vessel inspections (PVI’s) and provide a written scheme of examination (WSE) as well supply, service and repair of a wide range of dental compressor.
